Installation Instructions For Facepack FM 2012

Installation Instructions

Step 1
Extract all downloaded parts individually to the same temporary folder.
In order to extract you will need either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac.
Step 2
Cut and paste the folder “graphics” to:
Win Vista/Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\
Win 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\
Win 98/ME: C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\
Mac OS X: /Users/<username>/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2012/
If you already have a folder “graphics” it might ask you to overwrite it, select yes You won’t be losing any of your existing graphics.
Step 3
Run Football Manager 2012 and go to: Preferences > Display and Sound
Make sure that you tick the check box on the page called ‘Always Reload Skin on Confirm’ and un-tick then box saying ‘Use Skin Cache’. Hit Confirm.
There should be a box that pops up saying ‘loading image data for the new skin’. Once this is done your graphics should be working within the game.

Installation :
1. Unrar files
2. run (Setup 4.7.3.exe) and choose Install

Known Issues :
* do not update from konami, the patch include the latest official updates
* install on a fresh copy of PES (highly recommended)
* running the game as admin might be required
* some flags doesnt show when choosing a nationality
* starting a new saves is highly recommended due to new system files and stuff

The Top Leagues contains the top clubs of many, many nations. Currently, the MEGAPACK is split into six seperate pieces, as downloading all of them is too massive for any site to hold. There are many people and sites that have given genrously of their time and knowledge, namely my main man kumquat_s from FM-View, Bard, Orthodox, and company over at SerbianFM, and the FMXpert boys led by the always fantastic Jonas. Without these lads, this never would have worked.

All combined, these packs are the result of over 700+ hours of work. So you can fathom that it's a bit large. As this is a six-part download, I will list all the nations in each version (note that version 1.01 has two parts), so that way you can see what it is that you are getting in each. If you are really observant, you may notice that there is not a version 1.02 - I have combined all of 1.02 into version 1.03 so that there is one less download.

I have not updated anything as of yet for FM12 - so the leagues will have some shifting and relagating of clubs between them. If you want everything that I have done in a particular nation, I suggest going to that nation's download page, where you will get a bunch more stadiums than what is in these.

FM12 Stadium Backgrounds

I'm working through the leagues according to reputation in the editor and just releasing a 200mb base pack and soon I will be releasing a series of 200mb update packs until I have as many stadia ingame as possible.

These packs will show on the team and matchday screens and come in three different high quality sizes to fit the majority of monitors, 16:9 (1920x1080), 16:10 (1920x1200) and 4:3 (1600x1200). They should also work perfectly on lower resolutions as well, check the key lower down in the post if you haven't a clue about all this screen resolution gash.

Installation instructions:


IMPORTANT:
This background pack works best with a custom skin, for example FM12 Base Skins.
If you find the default transparency of the graphics for the Background Base Skins isn't to your liking you can adjust it by editing the graphics located in the \graphics\bgoverlay\ folder, you just need to alter the transparency of each graphic until you are happy.
If you find the overlay of your skin is too transparent/light, try some darker ones (Opacity set to 80% rather than 50%) you just need to download this file and extract the bgoverlay folder into the \<yourskin>\graphics folder so that it replaces the existing bgoverlay folder and overwrites the old graphics.

Extract to:

Win Vista/Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\graphics
Win 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\graphics

If you don't have a folder "graphics", create it yourself.

In order to extract you will need either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac.
If you already have the base pack extracted to the exact location above you'll be prompted to overwrite your folders when extracting the next update pack and the update after that and so forth, hit "yes to all" you wont lose anything its just adding the new pack into the file directory to keep everything neat and tidy.

Then open Football Manager 2012, go to Preferences > Display and Sound and untick use skin cache and tick always reload skin on confirm.

Key for finding the right pack (if needed)

16:9 1920x1080, 1600x900, 1366x768, 1280x720.
16:10 1920x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900,
4:3 1600x1200, 1400x1050, 1280x960, 1152x864, 1024x768

To find out or change your screen resolution right click your desktop, select properties and then settings and you should see a screen resolution slidebar.

FM2012 Metallic Logos Megapack

Now if you're new to these logos and have never tried them before, you just need to download the Torrent file.

Already have Metallic Logos Megapack from FM11?
If you have been using the logos and are up to date then you just need the Update Pack 1, updated FM12 Flag pack and the new Trophies which are in the links below.
The Trophy is Gold by default, but I have made a Silver and White one as well, so just rename each picture depending on which one you choose to have.

How to install:

If you already have the pack from FM11 and only downloaded the updated flag and the new trophies instead of the torrent:

Tranfer your existing FM11 logo folder into your FM12 folder, and extract Update Pack 1 to bring your pack in line with the full FM12 Torrent version. Before you install this update you must rename your Metallic Logos FM11 folder if you have not done so already.
So if your install filepath looks like this:
Football Manager 2012\graphics\logos\Metallic Logos FM11, change the 11 into 12 so that the configs and logos overwrite and update correctly.

All you are downloading are the Logos, Flags and other Metallic logo associated files so dont worry about anything else being overwritten.
Step 3
